## How to Withdraw $NAKA from CEX to Web3 Hot Wallet

**Step 1: Download a Web3 hot wallet of your choosing.**&#x20;

For this example, we will create a new Web3 hot wallet, so let's press on **Create a wallet.** You will be asked to create a password for Metamask. **NOTE: This is the password to access Metamask application on the browser, not your Web3 wallet password!** Create the password of your choosing and proceed on.

You will then be greeted with a short video introduction to Secret Recovery Phrase or Passphrase that will allow you to recover your Web3 wallet anywhere on any Web3 Hot Wallet platforms. If you never used a Web3 wallet before, it is advised to watch the video to the end.

Once you are done with the video, hit **Next** and you'll be able to see your Passphrase for your new Web3 wallet. It is advised for you to write the Passphrase down on a piece of paper and store it somewhere safe. Try to avoid recording the passphrase on any devices with internet connection as it is prone to hacks.

After you write down your Passphrase, hit **Next** and you'll be asked to recite your passphrase in the correct order.

Once you have completed reciting your Passphrase in the correct order, hit **Confirm** and now you have successfully created your first Web3 Hot Wallet!

**Step 3: Import Polygon RPC**

Nakamoto Games $NAKA is a token inside the Polygon blockchain, therefore you will need to setup the Polygon blockchain RPC on your metamask first. To start, open your Metamask extension and click on the icon on the top right. You'll see a dropdown then press on **Settings**.

Once you're in the **Settings** page, click on **Networks** and then press **Add a Network**.

If you downloaded the new version Metamask, you can add the Polygon Mainnet directly from the lists, or you can add a network manually.&#x20;

For this example, we'll add the network manually. To add the Polygon mainnet, use the following to input all the network information:

* Network Name : **Polygon Mainnet**
* New RPC URL : [**https://polygon-rpc.com/**](https://polygon-rpc.com/)
* Chain ID : **137**
* Currency Symbol : **MATIC**
* Block explorer URL : [**https://polygonscan.com/**](https://polygonscan.com/)

Once you have completed filling in the information, press **Save** and you'll be switched on the Polygon mainnet wallet.

&#x20;**Step 4: Import $NAKA contract onto Metamask**

To see your $NAKA in your Metamask wallet, you will need to import the $NAKA contract first. To start importing, press **Import tokens.**

Input the following information

* Token contract address : **0x311434160D7537be358930def317AfB606C0D737**
* Token symbol : **NAKA**
* Token decimal : **18**

Once you are done, press **Add custom token** to import $NAKA into your Metamask wallet. You will now be able to see your $NAKA token balance on Metamask.

**Step 5 : Withdraw $NAKA from CEX to Web3 wallet**

Now it is time for you to withdraw your $NAKA to your Web3 wallet, which in this example we will withdraw from Kucoin to Metamask. Before starting, go to your Metamask app and find your public key. This is the public blockchain address (wallet address) that you will use to send and receive any tokens. This can be found underneath your Account Name.

Press on the **Copy Icon** to copy your wallet address to copy it to your clipboard. Now go to Kucoin to start the withdrawal process. On Kucoin, go to your wallet and go to Withdraw to start withdrawal.

Under the Select a Coin, select **NAKA (Nakamoto Games)**

Withdraw to **Wallet Address** and then paste your wallet address in this section. Double check to see that you input the correct Web3 wallet address.

Choose the **MATIC** Network and then you can input the amount.&#x20;

There will be **3 $NAKA** as withdrawal fee and minimum withdrawal of 6 $NAKA per time.

Once you double check everything is correct, press **Withdraw** and you will be asked to put in your credentials (Trading Password / Email verification code / 2FA Code)

Once you have submitted your credentials, your $NAKA is on its way to your Web3 wallet.

Wait for 1-5 minutes (depending on network congestion) and your $NAKA should appear in your Web3 wallet. You can also check the transaction details under the withdraw blockchain record inside Kucoin.

Once the transaction is completed, your $NAKA is now withdrawn from the CEX and is now under self-custody. Congratulations, now you have your own keys and your own coins.

It is crucial for newcomers to understand that the current trend for play-to-earn games are usually a cash grab projects and normally what happens is that in every game release there will be a group of early adopters that will try to reap the benefits by trying to play the game and earn by going through game tasks. Nakamoto Games takes the similar approach to the **Poker's Prize Pool** where the rewards from playing the game comes from buy-ins from each player as entry fee. The reward is then distributed to each player based on the ranking achieved by the players from playing the games and based on the amount of players active in the gaming room at the respective time. The higher the ranking of the player, the bigger the size of the prize pool is distributed to the player, where in contrary players who scored in the lower end of the spectrum loses some of their buy-ins in the process.&#x20;

## In-Game Assets

Unlike other NFT games, Nakamoto Games is very inexpensive to play and is open to all gamers with buy-in micro pools ranging from **$1 - $5 per game.** Each player will have to pay a certain amount of $NAKA to buy a "resource" to play the games. These resources (bullets, tickets, gas, oil) are **In-Game Assets** that can be created in the [**NAKAVERSE**](/nakaverse/nakaverse-introduction) or can be bought directly from the platform using $NAKA, where the price of each In-Game Assets is tied to a dollar amount, not by the amount of $NAKA.&#x20;

The buy-ins that players have to pay varies depending on the betting size the player wants to join in. The current available buy-in sizes are **$1 / $5**.&#x20;

These values will correlate with the same value in $NAKA where the amount of $NAKA needed will vary depending on the price of $NAKA at the moment of buying. In the example shown below, the betting size is $1, which when reflected in $NAKA totals to 2.9052 $NAKA.

Once the player has the In-Game Assets necessary to play a game, they can join the game room and will have to compete with other players for the prize pool. The rooms that the player can join will only show the rooms that share the same betting sizes. Therefore, people who buy-ins at $1 will only see rooms with other players who are also buying in at $1 as well.

## Reward Distribution

The prize pool will not be distributed immediately after you have completed the game, but will only distributed once it has achieve either one of the following:

1. The room has 8 players and all 8 players has everyone submitted a high score
2. The room has been opened for 24 hours

The prize pool, rewarded as $NAKA, will fluctuate depending on $NAKA price at the given moment that the game room ends. Due to the fact that each In-Game Assets is tied to a dollar amount, when $NAKA price increase, the $NAKA you receive from the prize pool will reduce, and when $NAKA price decrease, the $NAKA you receive from the prize pool increases. Thus, no matter how fluctuating the price of $NAKA is, you will always receive the same rewards in dollar value.

Notice that there will only be 3 players who will profit from the game room while the other 5 players will incur a loss. This is the scenario where players will have to compete with each other for other players' tokens, thus creating a sustaining earning environment where the reward pool will never be depleted.

This will allow users to participate in playing games on the platform without needing to connect to Web3 wallet, allowing conventional game players to enjoy the games available on the platform without knowledge barrier on how to operate a blockchain wallet.

Users who shows extraordinary skill levels and make the top 10 player spot of the day will be rewarded daily with tickets that can be reinvested by competing in play-to-earn games and earn further rewards or sell on Nakamoto Games Marketplace.

The top 10 players will be rewarded as follow:

## How to Start

To start playing, users will need to create a Nakamoto Games account first, go through this [**guide**](/how-to-start/how-to-start-playing) to open a Nakamoto Games account.

Once the user has successfully open up a Nakamoto Games account, login into the account then head to the main page, under the scroller you should be able to see the **Free-to-Earn** section

Click on the game you wish to play. There will be a timer that will indicate the remaining time left until the system resets and distribute the rewards to the top 10 players for the day. To change the games, click on the hand icon on the top right corner to see which game is available to play.

Once you have selected the games you want to play, click on the **PLAY** button and you'll be directed to a room lobby.

There will be a total of 10 rooms that you will be able to play per one game. Select any room to join the room and press **START** to start playing.

Once you have completed the game, you will return to the room lobby and your score will be appear on the room as well.

The score you receive will be collected and sent towards the high score of all players. You can see the high scores of each player under the room information. If your score is within the top 10 players, your name will appear on the Top Players list. If not, then you can choose to play again in another room and try to achieve higher scores to compete with the daily top 10 players.

At the end of the day, the system will collect the top players in the list and distributed the rewards depending on the ranking the players achieve.

## How to Claim Tickets

If you successfully achieve the top player spot for a game, the system will award you with tickets depending on the rank you achieve.

To claim the reward, head over to the Items Reward section on the sidebar.

If you have successfully made it to the Top 10 spot at the end of the day, you will see the rewards you have receive in the section.

Click on the **Claim Reward** button and then you will receive the ticket to your Nakamoto Games account. To check whether the ticket has been received or not, go to the **Inventory** section on the sidebar.

When you open your Inventory, your ticket will show up ONLY IF you have successfully connected your Nakamoto Games account to your Web3 Wallet. Make sure you have linked your wallet with the Nakamoto Games account first in order to see your ticket.

The ticket will show up along with the quantity you receive under the **Free Item** section. You can now use the tickets to play the games on the Play-to-Earn platform.


# Weekly Reward System

To keep the community active and competing at all times, Nakamoto Games introduced the **Weekly Reward System.** In this system, the top 10 players who snatch the most top payouts in a particular game will receive additional rewards **every week**. This means that the top players for each game will receive additional benefits by playing and winning more in the game. This system is set to reward players who are actively playing the games and joining the empty rooms.&#x20;

The players do not need to win every single game, but if they have the largest payout in between the weeks, they will likely have the higher chance in landing in the top 10 weekly payout positions.

## Weekly Payout Calculation

The weekly reward comes from the $NAKA that was used to play the games, where 4% of the total $NAKA pool in games with 5 and more players will be locked and redistributed on every Sunday at 00:00 UTC. The more players playing the game, the bigger the reward pool becomes. The distribution of the Top 10 players will be as follow :&#x20;

# How to Buy Items

## How to Buy on NAKA Marketplace

There are two separate categories to choose from when trading for NFT in NAKA marketplace : Games NFT or Nakaverse Land NFT. Choose the one you want to pick to see the options available on market.

### Buying Games NFT

When picking on games NFT market, you'll be met with options of in-game assets that are used to play in Nakamoto Games gaming portal. You can use the filters on the sidebar to pick which type of in-game assets you want to buy.&#x20;

If you have decided on the in-game assets you want to buy, simply click on it to open up the in-game assets information.

On this page, you can choose the quantity of in-game assets you want to buy. The corresponding amount of $NAKA required to buy will be shown on the right along with the USD value on the bottom right hand corner.

When you want to buy, connect to your wallet that is linked to a Nakamoto Games account and then hit **BUY.** The in-game assets will now be in your inventory and you can start using it to play games on the Nakamoto Games gaming portal.


# How to Buy Lands

## Buying Nakaverse Land NFT

When picking Lands, you'll be met with the Nakaverse land available for sale. You can use the filter on the sidebar to pick the type of land you want to choose. Each lands available will be shown with information depicting as follow:

You may also see the land in Map View, simply hover over the **Lands** category then pick **Map View** to see the Nakaverse in birds-eye view.

In the birds-eye view, you can also choose to put on the filter to select the type of land you want to buy. In the case scenario above, the Wood type is selected, exploring ALL land slots, which will then highlight all the Woodlands available in Nakaverse NA region.

You may also see the lands that are currently for sale by other community members in the P2P Land section.&#x20;

To start buying, head to **List View** and choose the land you want to buy. You may also refer to the Land code for each land if you want to specify the land location you found in the **Map view**. Once you have selected a land, click on it and you will be met with the land information.

In this page, you'll see the Land Code and the price in $NAKA with USD amount on the bottom right side. You may also choose to **View land details** to see how many raw minerals are left for the land.&#x20;

Please note that land details information will only be available for lands that have been **OPENED** mineral resources (please see this [**guide**](/nakaverse/lands#how-to-open-mineral-resource-after-minting) for more information). Any newly minted lands will not show land details. Here's an example of land details that have opened mineral resources.

Each land will have a primary resource with randomize numbers along with 3 different secondary resources with randomize numbers. Only **Urban, Grassland, and Desert** lands that will not have any primary resources as they will be used for other purposes.

To buy Nakaverse land, simply click on the **BUY** button in the land information page and to pay $NAKA directly from your web3 wallet. Your land will appear in your Nakamoto Games account **Inventory** page.


# How to Sell Items

## How to Sell on NAKA marketplace.

To start selling on NAKA marketplace, open up your Nakamoto Games account and head to the **Inventory** tab. Once there, you will find all the NFT associated with your account. This includes all in-game assets and lands if you have them.&#x20;

To sell in-game assets, click on the asset you want to sell, it will open up a new page.

In this page, you will see the quantity of the specific in-game item you have. Click on **SELL ITEM** to sell it on NAKA marketplace.

A new pop-up modal will appear where you can input the amount of in-game assets you wish to sell and the selling price in $NAKA. When the transaction is processed, your item will be available on the NAKA marketplace and if the item is sold, you will receive the $NAKA amount subtracting a 5% marketplace fee that goes towards your Web3 wallet directly.

# The Economy

Nakaverse is built on the foundation of being the fuel for the whole Nakamoto Games ecosystem. Unlike other metaverses that have land scarcity and have its value based purely on speculations, Nakaverse land have unlimited supply and operates with intrinsic value tied to each land in a form of a set number of raw minerals that can be extracted from each land and lands that have purposes as manufacturing plants to produces goods that serves the play-to-earn gaming portal.

To understand more on how Nakaverse economy operates, it is crucial to understand the 3 different parties acting 3 different roles in driving the Nakaverse ecosystem.

## The Landlords

The landlords are the owner of a piece of land in Nakaverse. They are the people who decides on what the lands in the Nakaverse will be used for and will be able to gain passive income utilizing the land to its fullest.

There will be two types of lands : (1) Mining Lands and (2) Production Lands where the first will be mining for raw minerals, combined them into in-game assets to sell for customers to buy and use to it in the Play-to-Earn gaming portal (B2C) while the latter will be providing services for the first group such as producing ingots and boosting mining efficiency rate (B2B).

The main role for Landlords are to collectively create [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets) to serve the growing needs of gamers that will buy in-game assets to use in the play-to-earn gaming portals. Depending on the type of land you have, you will likely be focusing on utilizing the land based on your land's purpose. * If you own Mining Lands, you will need to buy a mining factory that suits your land type and process it everyday to mine the raw minerals from the land. You may also consider the option of renting out your lands to Entrepreneurs and have them do all the dirty work.
* If you own Production Lands, you will need to buy an office or a house or an energy farm that suits your land type.&#x20;
  * If you have an office, you can provide the refinement services to refine raw minerals into ingots which can then be used to create [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets).
  * If you have a house, you can provide housing services for Workers to rest.  Resting will restore Stamina which will allow the Employees to work again in the Nakaverse.
  * If you own an energy farm, you can provide the service of selling Electricity and Food to fuel the efficiency for Mining Factories and Stamina for Employees.

Each land types will have different Factory / Building NFTs that works best for them, while some Buildings are limited to Urban lands only. Visit [Factories / Buildings](/nakaverse/factories-buildings) to learn more about the different building types.

Ultimately, the Landlords are the creators of the Nakaverse ecosystem where everything that happens in Nakaverse starts from them and are the people who gain the most monetary benefits throughout the whole land lifespan.

## The Entrepreneurs

The Entrepreneurs are the group of people who will be operating the factories and buildings in Nakaverse on a daily basis. They will be the ones that proceeds with all the mining activities with their extensive collection of factories and buildings while tweaking the numbers to enhance the efficiency rate.&#x20;

Entrepreneurs will usually have many building types to their disposal and will operate on any lands that are available for rent. Some Entrepreneurs may have their own lands and operate on their own terms, but the main focus of Entrepreneurs should be prioritized in operating the buildings for the Landlords.&#x20;

For Entrepreneurs, the efficiency of the building operations are what most important to them as having higher yields means they can get more from a land while paying the same rent. There are different types of efficiencies that can be improved upon:

1. Factory / Building Level - Factory / Building will have Leveling System linked to each building. The higher the building level, the more efficient it becomes.&#x20;
2. Employees - Employees can be hired to improve efficiency in the buildings. The higher the employee level, the more efficient it becomes.
3. Electricity - Electricity produced by **Solar Energy Farm** can be used to increase the efficiency in the building. The more electricity uses, the more efficient it becomes.

Example : a normal mining factory yields a total of 8,000 raw minerals per day, which equates to $40 per day. A Landlord offers to have the Entrepreneurs operate on his land in exchange for $30 per day, leaving the Entrepreneurs $10 as operating profit. However, if the Entrepreneurs has a higher efficiency rate in mining the lands because they (i) have contacts of skilled Workers (ii) has their own electricity generating plant (iii) has high level mining factories, they can increase the yield up to 15,000 raw minerals per day, equivalent to $75 daily. After paying off the rent costs of $30, they are left with $45 worth of raw minerals by utilizing efficiency.

As seen in the example above, by focusing on increasing mining efficiency, Entrepreneurs can gain higher profit margins than Landlords if they operate at high efficiencies, thus makes it more suitable for Entrepreneurs to improve upon the assets that builds up on efficiency.

## The Employees

The Employees are the working class of Nakaverse. They are the ordinary users who wishes to participate within the Nakaverse by signing up to work in mining factories or production facilities.

Becoming an Employee inside the Nakaverse will be requiring a form of NAKA ID, which in this case will be the [NAKA Punks NFT](/naka-punks/naka-punks-nft). With the maximum of 10,000 Employees available based on the maximum number of NAKA Punks, Employees will be scarce and will play a very important role within the Nakaverse ecosystem.

Employees are able to gain passive income by becoming the workforce offering their services to improve the efficiencies for the Landlords and the Entrepreneurs, in exchange for compensations in a form of raw minerals that is utilized by the establishment.

Each Employees will operate under a **Stamina** bar which will deplete over time when they are doing any activities such as mining the lands, operating the offices, or working in the energy farm.&#x20;

To restore their **Stamina** bar, the Employees can choose to do one of the followings:

1. Stay idle (not doing anything) and slowly restore **Stamina** over time. This means that the Employee will not be gaining any benefits during this time.
2. Eat **Food** produced by **Wind Energy Farms** to quickly restore **Stamina** immediately.
3. Rent out **Houses** to get rest after a work which will restore **Stamina** quickly over time.

For Employees, **Stamina** management is crucial as having enough **Stamina** to perform a specific duty within the NAKAVERSE allows for more opportunities to earn without needing to invest in anything as long as they have the [NAKA Punks NFT](/naka-punks/naka-punks-nft) with them.

# Self-Sustaining Earnings

The problems many metaverses and play-to-earn protocols faces is the lack of sustainability plans. Unlike traditional Web2 metaverses MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) where everything can be made out of thin air, Web3 metaverses requires a comprehensive economic model to keep the economy from falling apart.&#x20;

Web3 metaverses and play-to-earn protocols usually attract users to use their protocol by providing ways for users to earn. However, in most cases the earning part comes from the project's liquidity pool which are usually built from capitals from the users themselves. By creating the [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets) used for gaming on [Nakamoto.Games](https://www.nakamoto.games/), the Nakaverse users can opt for two ways to create earnings.

1. Use the [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets) generated in playing games on the Nakamoto Games Platform.
2. Sell the [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets) on [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace) for other gamers to buy using $NAKA

* Game Listing Fees - For independent developers who wants to deploy their games to earn 3% commission on every games being played on the platform pays fees to list the game. Percentages of listing fees will be put towards the vault.
* [Lands](/nakaverse/lands) Sales - For long term investors who wants to become the in-game assets supplier for the gamers to buy on the marketplace. These can also be for gamers who wants to play the games on a regular basis without needing to spend on buy-ins. Sales will be put towards the vault.
* [Factories / Buildings](/nakaverse/factories-buildings) Sales - For long term investors who wants to conduct businesses within the Nakaverse as an [The Economy](/nakaverse/the-economy#the-entrepreneurs)and gain rewards for their services. Sales will be put towards the vault.
* [NAKA Punks NFT](/naka-punks/naka-punks-nft)Sales - For investors who look towards an NFT with real utility and provide the opportunity to participate in the Nakaverse as one of [The Economy](/nakaverse/the-economy#the-employees). Sales will be put towards the vault.
* Factory / Building Maintenance - As an upkeep to continuously mine the lands, factory / building owners will have to conduct weekly maintenance to keep the mines operating at maximum capacity. Maintenance cost will be put towards the vault.
* In-App Purchases - Future games will have in-app purchases for users to buy, where percentage of these purchases will be put towards the vault.
* Commission from Marketplace - Whenever player conducts P2P trades within the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace), a percentage of the purchase value will be put towards the vault.
* Commission from P2E Games - Whenever player plays the P2E games, a certain percentage will be collected by the platform (see [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system)) which will be put towards the vault.

With multiple sources of fees collected, the vault will continuously collect $NAKA to then be distributed back to the players utilizing the Nakamoto Games gaming portal.


# Lands

Lands in Nakaverse will mimic the continents of Earth. The first inaugural territory release that will be open is **North America.** North America will be the first map release bringing the Sci-fi theory of "virtual world" closest to fulfillment, with its vast variety of land types and weather condition. Each plot of land inside North America will serve different purposes and each land plots will have its own perks to unlock, specifically resources to create in-game items and assets to serve the demands of the market. There will be 9 types of land available within North America, separated by 6 being **Mining Lands** and 3 being **Production Lands**. Lands can be purchased from the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace) with the market price at **$12,000 worth of $NAKA**.&#x20;

## Mining Lands

The first 6 types of land will represent 66% of the total NFT digital land type and enables owners to create various in-game items and resources such as ammunitions, tickets, and gasoline which will be the main material used by players to create in-game infrastructure and unique items which can then be trade inside NAKA Market. The table below shows an example of how much Mining Land types is available in North America Map and what raw mineral does the land yield.

Each land will have random number of raw mineral yields, which can be depleted once the land has been mined throughout its lifespan. The raw mineral resources number will not be shown until the land has been [opened](/nakaverse/lands#how-to-open-mineral-resource-after-minting), however once the land has been opened, the number of raw minerals available on the land will not change until mining process has started.

To mine the lands, a factory is required to be established on the land first to enable mining rigs to start. Each land will operate on different factory NFTs, and the rate of mining is dependent on various factors such as factory level, mining efficiency, and miners efficiency. ## Production Lands

The 3 remaining type of land, representing 33% of total NFT digital land type, vastly increase the productivity at which the items can be made and infrastructures to build.&#x20;

These 3 digital land plots give owners a significant edge over other Nakaverse players as they allow owners to create valuable resources such as electricity and food that runs the Nakaverse factories and labors while being the main land type for creating in-game items (ticket / bullet / oil) for the Nakamoto Games ecosystem. With the Nakaverse having an independent, whole economy of its own, these plots would help in bringing ‘efficiency’ to the whole economy. The table below shows an example of how much Mining Land types is available in North America Map and what main purpose for each lands are.

Having a different purpose from the Mining Lands, these production lands is mainly for improving the infrastructure of the whole Nakaverse economy. In order to create in-game assets to be sold on the marketplace, all users will have to take the raw minerals and go through the **Item Factories** that operates on **Urban Area** to turn the raw minerals into in-game assets.&#x20;

In order for mining plants to work efficiently, electricity will be necessary to enhance mining rate, which **Energy Farm** on **Sun Dust** will be the main land type that provides electricity to mining plants  to boost the land productivity.

Users inside the Nakaverse will operate with a **Stamina Bar** representing the number of activities the user can perform inside the Nakaverse. Whenever the user goes to work inside any types of factories or perform any action that requires stamina inside the Nakaverse, the **Stamina Bar** will decrease. Although the **Stamina Bar** will slowly replenish, the best way to refill the **Stamina Bar** is to eat food that is produced within the **Food Farm** inside **Evergreen** lands.

## Where to Buy Nakaverse Lands

Currently, there are **3,121 individual lands** available across North America, in which land is not fixed amount as the land will increase depending on the economy of the NAKAVERSE (thus not suitable for Land NFT flipping). There are 7 continents in the world, and the torchbearer of NAKAVERSE origin such as North America will be its first to revolutionize the virtual reality we know.

There are currently 3 ways to buy Nakaverse lands.

## How to Buy / Redeem Land

#### How to Buy Land (for Public Sales)

To start buying Nakaverse land, you will need to create a Nakamoto Games account first, follow this [guide](broken://pages/PxKcIpEQXNuwo8Z4IALe) to create one.&#x20;

Once you have created an account, direct to the **MARKETPLACE** tab. From there, go the the **Lands** tab and then choose any land you want from either the List View or the Map View. Use the filter on the side to direct to a specific land type.

Once you have selected the land that you want to buy, you will have to use $NAKA to buy the land in equivalent to $12,500 (price of $NAKA for land will change depending on $NAKA price at the time of buying)

Once you have completed buying the land, head to the **Inventory** tab to see your land in your inventory.&#x20;

#### How to Redeem Land (for Private Sales)

To start redeeming Nakaverse land, you will need to retrieve redemption code from private sales facilitator first.

Once you have the redemption code, connect your Web3 wallet that was used to buy the land in private sales and direct to the **MARKETPLACE** tab. From there, go the the **Lands** tab and then choose any land you want from either the List View or the Map View. Use the filter on the side to direct to a specific land type.&#x20;

Once you have selected the land that you want to redeem, click on it to open up a new webpage then direct down to the **Redemption Code** toolba&#x72;**.** Simply paste your redemption code in the tool bar and hit **Redeem** then you should be able to redeem your selected land.

Once you have completed redeeming the land, head to the **Inventory** tab to see your land in your inventory.&#x20;

#### How to Open Mineral Resource after Minting

To utilize Nakaverse land at its maximum potential, the player will need to open up the mineral resources of the land. Each land will come with variation of mineral resources, with each one have random range of main minerals and secondary minerals available in the land.&#x20;

To open up the land mineral resources, head to your land in Nakamoto Games **Inventory** tab, open up the land, and you'll see a blue button with **Mineral Resources** inside it. Click on it and the a command will prompt to verify the process. Once completed, the number of main resources and secondary resources will show up.

Unique land type such as **Urban**, **Grassland**, and **Sundust** will not have main resources and will only have secondary resources. These lands will have its other use in the Nakaverse.

#### How to Connect Nakaverse land to Opensea

Connect your Web3 wallet then under the **Hidden** tab, you should be able to see your Nakaverse land NFT. You can now operate your Nakaverse land NFT on Opensea just like any other NFT.


# Factories / Buildings

Apart from the [Lands](/nakaverse/lands) of Nakaverse, factories and buildings are another fundamental aspects that is needed to operate the economy within Nakaverse. Similar to how buildings in the real world works, the factories and buildings of Nakaverse will be implemented with the purpose of mining and creating the materials that fuels the Nakamoto Games Ecosystem. Each buildings will have its specific uses depending on the land types and although some buildings can be built on every land type, there are several unique ones that is required to be built only on **Urban** lands. Factories and buildings can be purchased from the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace) with the market price at **$1,500 worth of $NAKA**.&#x20;

## Mining Factories

There are 6 different mining factories that can be operated in any type of lands:

* Coal Mining Plant - produces coal
* Copper Mining Plant - produces copper ore
* Gemstone Mining Plant - produces raw gem
* Iron Mining Plant - produces iron ore
* Oil Refinery - produces crude oil
* Sawmill produces wood

Each factory will yield different raw materials and operates under a 24-hr processing time period. The factories will yield a **minimum of 8,000 of raw minerals** per day when operated on any types of land, with the mining rate increases depending on Factory Level & other utilizations such as number of Employees and electricity usage.

## Energy Farm

There are 2 types of energy farm are buildings that can be built on any types of land that serves different purposes

* Solar Energy Farm - solar energy is the source for electricity production. Every factory runs on electricity and solar energy farm will produce **Electricity** that enhances the factory mining rate. Electricity will be a tradable asset within the Nakaverse and will have a major role in keeping maintenance of the mining factories. It is most suitable for **Sun Dust** lands.
* Wind Energy Farm - wind energy is the source for food production. Every factory needs a worker to run the mining plant and these workers will require **Food** to be able to operate on the mining plants. Foods will be a tradable asset within the Nakaverse and will have a major role in replenishing the workers energy. It is most suitable for **Evergreen** lands.

## Offices (Urban Exclusive)

Offices are the production facilities for all of Nakaverse items. To refine the raw minerals mined from the mining plant to become **Ingots** and from **Ingots** to [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets), it has to go through the **mineral refinement process** inside the offices.

Although **Nakamoto Tower** provides the mineral refinement as well, Nakaverse users can utilize the offices to do mineral refinement at a much cheaper rate when compared to the Nakamoto Tower.&#x20;

Offices can also provide jobs for Employees as well, providing compensations in return.

All three types of offices produce the same result with the only difference is the aesthetic of the building.

## Houses (Urban Exclusive)

Houses are residential area for all Nakaverse workers. To replenish the **Stamina** of the workers, they will need to restore it through renting out one of the houses. Although workers can regain their **Stamina** by default, utilizing the houses will provide a faster **Stamina** replenishment.

Although workers can also restore their energy with **Food** from time to time, renting out houses will provide a more sustainable way for workers to operate in longer hours.

Owners of houses can choose and decide on the rental fees as an upkeep for all workers who rent out their houses.

All three types of houses produce the same result with the only difference is the aesthetic of the building.

## Where to Buy Factories / Buildings

Factories and Buildings are a type of ERC-721 standard token (NFTs) which are tradable on secondary markets such as Opensea. However, the minting of Factories/Buildings NFTs will happen only on the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace).&#x20;

There are currently 2 ways to buy Factories & Buildings.

1. [Buy from Nakamoto Games Marketplace directly with $NAKA](https://marketplace.nakamoto.games/building)
2. Buy from secondary market such as [Opensea](https://opensea.io/collection/nakaverse-building-nft-level-1) with $ETH


# How to Start in Nakaverse

To start your journey in the Nakaverse, you will need to complete the following steps first.

1. Have a Nakamoto Games account. Check [Broken mention](broken://pages/PxKcIpEQXNuwo8Z4IALe) to see how to register.
2. Own / rent a land. See [Lands](/nakaverse/lands)for more details on what Lands are in Nakaverse.
3. Own / rent a factory. See [Factories / Buildings](/nakaverse/factories-buildings) for more details on what Factories / Buildings are used for in Nakaverse.
4. (Optional) Own [NAKA Punks](/naka-punks/naka-punks-nft)to become the Employees of Nakaverse. See [The Economy](/nakaverse/the-economy#the-employees) to understand more what Employees do.

Once you have all the prerequisites, head over to [Nakaverse.Games](https://www.nakaverse.games/) and connect your wallet to start your Nakaverse experience.

After connecting your Web3 wallet to the Nakaverse website, click on **NAKAVERSE'S GAME-PLAY** to start the game.

Once you have finished loading the resources, you'll be met with a welcome screen. Press **Start** to continue on.

Once arrived into the Nakaverse, if you have an active Land, you will see your Lands on the left sidebar. You can click on the land and the navigation will center your Land in the middle of the map.

You can click on the Land and the Land information will pop up on the right sidebar showing the Land Owner, the resources, and the workers on the Land.&#x20;

On the bottom-left side of the screen you will see the mini-map of the current Nakaverse continent you are in. The letter "T" will take you to the **Nakamoto Tower** while the "M" is unavailable at the moment.

To see your Inventory, click on the Box Icon on the top-left corner of the screen which will show a pop-up window of the raw materials and all the game assets that is connected to your account.

The Inventory will show the resources you currently own, separated by being raw material and refined materials. On the top, you can select to see the In-Game Items you currently owned, and the Factories you have as well. This will be linked to your Web3 wallet, so any NFT Buildings and in-game assets you have will be shown here as well.

## How to Start Mining your Land

To start mining your Land, make sure you have the correct Factory type that matches your Land type (for example: Sawmill for Woodlands).&#x20;

Once you have both your land and factory ready, click on the Land ID on the left sidebar to navigate to your land.&#x20;

Then press on your land and click on the **Resources** tab on the Land Information.&#x20;

If your land has been opened (see [Lands](/nakaverse/lands#how-to-open-mineral-resource-after-minting)), you should see the **Construct A Building** icon.

Select your factory and proceed on and now you should have you factory built on your land.

To start mining, press the **Process A Product** button and it will start mining the land for the raw materials produced by the mining lands.

Mining a Land is a 24-hr process. After pressing on **Process A Product**, the land will mine for 24 hours and you need to come back and collect your mining rewards.&#x20;

After collecting the mining rewards, you will need to repeat the **Process A Product** step again to start mining the next round.

Each standard factory will be able to mine 8000 raw materials per day that can be increased further by mining utilizations (factory level, electricity, workers)

## How to Craft In-Game Assets

After mining the raw materials, it will need to go through a processing facility to refine into Ingots. This can be done through 3rd party Offices available or through the **Nakamoto Tower**.&#x20;

To start refining into Ingots, press the "T" beside the minimap to navigate to the Nakamoto Tower.

Inside the Nakamoto Tower, you can refine your raw materials into Ingots and also craft the [Gaming Reward System](/play-to-earn-games/gaming-reward-system#in-game-assets) using the Ingots as well. To start refining your raw materials to become Ingots, press on the tower and under Combine Materials, you should see the types of Ingots and the required raw material needed to process with.

In this example, we will try to craft **Oil** using **Crude Oil** that was mined from the Petroleum Land. You can change the craft amount and you will see the amount of Crude Oil required change with the craft amount. Once you are ready, press on **Craft** and you will receive the crafted Ingots.

With the Ingots you receive, you can now sell the Ingots in [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace) or you can use it to create In-Game Assets. Press on the tower to see what types of Ingots each type of In-Game Assets requires to craft.

In the example above, for $1 Oil, you will need 36 Oil Ingots and 12 Copper Ingot. If you are  producing Oils already, now you will need to find another Nakaverse user to trade the Copper Ingot with or you can check out on the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace) to see if Copper Ingot is being sold there or not.

Once you have the required material, you can change the craft amount based on the total number of Ingots you have and then press **Craft**. There will be a timer popped up to show the amount of time it will require for crafting the In-Game Assets.

Once the timer is up, you can now claim the In-Game Assets which will automatically transfer into your Nakamoto Games account Inventory. You can now use the newly crafted In-Game Assets to play games on the Nakamoto Games platform or you can sell on the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace).

# Depreciation

Similar to real world assets, factories and buildings inside the NAKAVERSE also go through stages of asset depreciation. The depreciation is coded into each building and building will depreciate only when being utilized. Depreciation will lower down the utilization rate of the building (mining raw materials, crafting items, producing food and energy), which will continuously depreciate until the factory / building is no longer functional.

The depreciation level increases as the buildings has been utilized without performing any maintenances, while at the same time lowers down the mining yields per day. The higher the depreciation, the lower the yields.&#x20;

However, although your factory is utilizing at a lower yield, the amount of resources used remains the same. For example, if your mining factory is under 20% depreciation, you will receive only 6400 raw materials per day, but it will mine 8000 worth of raw materials from the land each day, resulting in a loss of 1600 raw materials to depreciation rate.

## Building Maintenances

In order to avoid asset depreciation, each factory and buildings will require building maintenances to fix the building from depreciating even further and return the building to 100% factory quality. These maintenances fixes will require various resources created within the NAKAVERSE, and each building will require different types of resources, usually in forms of INGOTS (Copper Ingot / Iron Ingot / Oil / Processed Coal, etc.)

The resources that will be required to do the maintenance fix comprises of two materials, the primary resource and the secondary resource.&#x20;

The primary resource, usually the same materials that is the yield of the factory, will be the main resource that will cover 75% of the total costs of the maintenance.&#x20;

The main secondary resources for all the mining factories are Woods, mined through Woodland using Sawmill, will cover the rest 25% of the total costs of the maintenance (except for Sawmill itself which uses Iron as secondary resources.

## Maintenance Costs

To understand how much resources will be required to perform maintenance at each building depreciation level, please use the following guideline:

# How Arcade Emporium Works

Arcade Emporium NFT works as a licensing deal for a specific game in Nakamoto.games, giving ownership of the game to the owner through usage of NFT technology. There are two ways to gain ownership of the Arcade Emporium NFT:

1. Buy Arcade Emporium NFT of games that has already been released on the platform through [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace)
2. Connect with the team to create Build Orders for the team to custom build a game for you (costs of operation depends on length and game complexity)

Once the game is built and tested for bug fixes, it will undergo smart contract configuration through the Nakamoto Games SDK and release as a play-to-earn games on Nakamoto.Games.

The smart contract will also mint an NFT (ERC-721 token) with it which will then be sent to the investor / owner of the game to hold onto.

Arcade Emporium NFT owners will also be able to set up their own **Personal Game Arcade Center** that owners can decorate the looks and feels of the arcade center by themselves to suit the specific games they own.

# How to Change your In-Game Profile Picture

One of the perks of NAKA Punks is the ability to show them off in your in-game account. After receiving your NAKA Punks, head over to your account by clicking on your in-game avatar once you're logged in.

Once you're in your profile picture customization page, click the left hand button to see your NAKA Punk.&#x20;

After minting your NAKA Punks, your NAKA punk will be shown on Opensea as well where you can trade your NAKA Punks on the secondary market.

To start trading your NAKA Punk, connect your Web3 wallet then under the **Hidden** tab, you should be able to see your NAKA Punk NFT. You can now operate your NAKA Punk NFT on Opensea just like any other NFT.


# How to Import NAKA Punk to Metamask

After receiving your NAKA Punk from the [What is NAKA Marketplace](/naka-marketplace/what-is-naka-marketplace), your NAKA Punk will be in your Web3 Wallet under the ERC-721 label.&#x20;

In order for NAKA Punk to show in any Web3 wallet, you will need to whitelist the NAKA Punk in your wallet application first.&#x20;

For this guide, we will cover the procedures on how to import your NAKA Punk onto your mobile Metamask application.&#x20;

### Step 1: Getting your NAKA Punk ID Number

Before starting the importing process, you will need to find out your NAKA Punk ID Number first. Start by going into [Nakamoto.Games](https://www.nakamoto.games/) and connect to your Nakamoto Games account that is linked to the wallet you used to receive the NAKA Punk. After that, head to the sidebar and look for **Inventory.**

Then connect your Web3 wallet to your account and press on **Inventory** again.

Then press the **NAKA Punk** Tab and your NAKA Punk will show up with your NAKA Punk ID Number. In this example, the Punk ID Number is #8932

### Step 2 : Importing NAKA Punk into Metamask Mobile App

To move forward in this step, make sure you have a Metamask Application installed into your mobile phone first and go through the procedure of adding your wallet information as well as opening up the wallet in Polygon Chain before proceeding on.

Once you have your Metamask app ready, go to the **NFTs** tab and you will see something like this:&#x20;

Right now your NAKA Punk will not show on the Metamask App as it has not been imported into the app yet. Press the **Import NFTs** button at the bottom to start the importing process. You'll see 2 text box to input in the Address and ID.

For **Address**, input the NAKA Punk Contract :&#x20;

For **ID**, input your NAKA Punk ID Number that you've found in Step 1. After pressing **Done**, you will see the Punk Icon show up in your NFTs section. Make sure your ID number is correct, otherwise it will not import the correct NAKA Punk and give you an error instead.

Michelle : The pleasure is ours. We keep on building and delivering no matter what the market does. This week we’ll release an update which will bring a significant increase in platform usage and user increase.

#### Grady Teske : Over the last 2 months we have collaborated with Nakamoto Games to take a deep dive into the process of Diligence, what this means for investors, particular using Nakamoto Games as a use case for not only meeting key Roadmap milestones but also exceeding the expectations of their investors and community, we have been honoured to get to know the team and community better.&#x20;

#### Over this time we have also given an opportunity to applicants to submit their own analytic report. The goal was to find a superior diligence reporter and allow them more opportunities to hone their skills and allow to help them build a career in due diligence.

#### Grady Teske : Let’s dive in! One of the more obvious criteria that analytics dig into is User Adoption. For the #NAKAMOTO team  could you give us a overview of the current statistics?How big are your social channels? What is the growth rate over time? What is the community engagement and how does it compare to competition?

Goto : We are nearly half a million followers in all socials combined. The stats are constantly positive as we are constantly mentioned in third-party social monitoring metrics for TOP most engaging community. We are always proud of our quality community members for showing support and insightful suggestions. Organic growth and we always welcome newcomers!

#### Grady Teske : Incredible growth and organic with strong engagement. lots to love. thank you @gotoism. now i'd like to introduce one of our top finalist Patrykos$ welcome to the AMA this morning and thank you for creating a thoughtful and well crafted submission.

Patrykos$ : hello team! 🤘

#### Grady Teske : Patrykos$ on User Adoption: You clearly share our excitement for Nakamoto, and as an investor it is important to consider the ‘players’ and audience. Who do you believe Nakamoto Games core audience is and can you share your thoughts on their user adoption strategy, in particular engaging users potentially outside of this ‘core’ group?

Patrykos$: To answer this question I would divide the Nakamoto Games project audience into several smaller groups  &#x20;

players: this is the group that should be the driving horse of the whole project. They are the ones who build reach and are able to create positive PR through their love for games. At the moment the problem is the adoption of players from the classical world to the blockchain world. The barrier may be fees, technology or a wide fear of leaving the classic model of gaming. This is changing, but still very slowly, which is why I think Nakamoto can be a pioneer in this topic.&#x20;

Imagine replicating the classic Steam platform, with such a mass of games and audiences but in the world of blockchain. It is possible, it just takes time and the right product in the form of quality games. At the moment, games on blockchain are largely very poor quality productions that are based on the purchase of NFT and speculation, which often ends in a loss of the player. This has to change and Nakamoto's platform has to cut out the speculative value of NFT and the requirement to purchase expensive items to start playing. Therefore, an important aspect is the introduction of free gaming options.&#x20;

Another roadblock is also technology. The player has no desire to connect to the exchange, purchase tokens, and link the Metamask wallet. He wants to go to the site, click one button and play. This I believe needs to be streamlined but looking at the plans for the project and the desire to introduce fees in the form of FIAT or their own stablecoin may work. We need to give a clear message that from now on players can play their favorite games and collect items, trade them, earn money and have fun at the same time. That is, what they have done so far, but now with the option to multiply their funds.&#x20;

Current games on the platform do not build a community around them because they are simply short and often not very engaging, but with the emergence of external projects this may change. The game needs to be interesting, addictive for hours and give the option to compete against an opponent. Naka Strike is a foretaste of that. It is also worth adding that currently players are blocked by the aspect of the possibility of losing their funds by losing games. This is normal in this model, but why not give them something in the form of "comfort". You could implement a drop system for items that players could collect, or give them the opportunity to participate in random ticket drops from time to time. In addition to the aspect of earning $ naka, there must also be a system that builds the willingness to play in the weaker ones in a small %, otherwise only a few best players will remain, without much demand from others.

investors: people who want to be in the project but not to play, but to invest their money in order to earn over time. Nakamoto here is moving away from the speculative function of NFT and land in the Nakaverse which in my opinion is positive in the long term. Investors can't just be people who put in their $ thinking that in a few months they will run away from the project and take the profit. Yes, they are here to earn money, but also to participate in the life of the project. An interesting solution would be the ability to lend your shares to third parties. For example: I have a lot of money but no time, so I lend my NFT to someone who has no money but has time to devote to the project. Such a mechanism would invite more investors but also Nakaverse users who could be employees for rent.

If we talk about Nakaverse as a place for investors a good solution would be to implement municipal functions: electing Nakaverse mayor and people in different positions to give them additional functions. So that they feel important and at the same time encouraged to live in this environment. By the way if Nakamoto is to build a place for other gaming projects then it is worth thinking about a model like $ATOM has for example, where some allocations in the form of aidrops are given for owning cryptocurrency. A small thing but increases loyality and the desire to be in possession of $Naka.

I also strongly believe in it, I know that we are at the beginning and the adoption is yet to come. and the last point that popped into my head

observers - people who neither play nor invest, but build a range. Who of us does not sometimes turn on something on Youtube or does not watch broadcasts of Esports events. Why not create a place for people who are only interested in following the actions of players. I believe that more broadcasts with UpOnly will be realized because it is a good direction along with betting on winners.

Michelle : The core focus is on marketing the available products. First, people have to realize that on Nakamoto Games you can come and get paid for playing games. On UpOnly you can join and make money as a spectator. All is available now, it’s not a vision for the future.

#### Grady Teske: thank you for the excellent insight. As the community can see Patrykos$ clearly has a mind for analytics and diligence.  Pivoting for a moment over to the next criteria Competitor Research I'd like to introduce another finalist @ntan85.

#### @ntan85, You gave some very clear competitor research and comparisons, what do you believe is the standout for Nakamoto, where do you believe they are leading the charge? In contrast, where do you believe Nakamoto games has the most opportunity?

Nicola Tan : GM everyone, There are a lot of play 2 earn blockchain games in the gaming world. However, the high quality play 2 earn games are still under development (especially the 3D and VR kind) and Nakamoto is actually one of the few play 2 earn blockchain based games that is available right now to users. Nakamoto stands out not only by its ability to bring new games to the ecosystem in a short span of time but also being able to provide different kinds of games and styles under its umbrella for all kinds of players. There are games suited to some people who have good reflexes as well as some who have slower reflexes; and this provides a rich variety of games for every kind of player possible out there.&#x20;

#### Grady Teske : True.  #NAKAMOTO stands out to me because it's actually really fun and engaging! So many have yet to achieve the playability that just one of the $NAKA games offers

Nicola Tan : The beauty of Nakamoto is its own SDK (software development kit) which allows the game to attract independent developers to build games, thereby providing a variety of play2 earn options. Through SDK, the team is able to leverage on other developers in the P2E space. In doing so, the team doesn’t need to take on game developers just to crunch out new, fresh and captive games to its players. The reward pool is designed to incentivize these independent developers to participate in Nakamoto’s ecosystem.

#### Grady Teske : Exactly - scaling development through invitation, innovation comes from without and drives value within.

Nicola Tan : The key to continue to attract people is the availability and the freshness of the game, ie. Updates. They’re really important to keep people coming back for more. With the SDK and tokenomics, Nakamoto is expected to be coming up with new games on a timely basis.

The trick is to get blockchain games available to everyone, this may be a long shot but I believe Nakamoto Games may be able to get more opportunity by making the whole experience of “entering and playing the game” as seamless as possible!&#x20;

which could be made available on an App in the future that is also connected to their social media channels. Such integration would allow the players a platform to share achievements and allow Nakamoto to showcase the top players and their earnings through their leaderboards. All of this might be able to entice people to join the game and try to get some earnings.

#### Grady Teske : What I love about web3 and particularly this community is the ideas that come from anyone, to drive projects forward.  Not only does this community foster innovation.  The #NAKAMOTO team clearly embraces and focuses on the innovation for value creation

Nicola Tank : This could boost Nakamoto’s reach and the public awareness of this game (through word of mouth, marketing campaigns, referrals system, influencers on their social media channels). I understand that this could be quite a stretch from an IT perspective and there would be certain rules to adhere to in order to be but if Nakamoto Games are available through Apple appstore or Google playstore on devices, Nakamoto may be able to tap into the non-crypto exposed phone users.

#### Grady Teske : WELL DONE @ntan85. @gotoism How do you feel this compares to your own analysis? Do you believe to have a direct competitor and how do you feel you differ?

Goto : I think there is an enormous addressable market and it remains largely untapped by blockchain gaming projects.

#### Grady Teske : so the idea of competition at this point actually drives all particpants to greater markets. Rising Tides Raises All Boats. love it

Goto : When we started out, we came with the vision of becoming the leading play-to-earn ecosystem in the blockchain gaming industry. We succeeded in delivering gamers with unprecedented optionality when it comes to blockchain gaming options, not to mention lucrative earning opportunities.

This is a significant market in its own right but we are now focused on broadening our applicable market by offering free-to-play gaming options where gamers worldwide can tap into blockchain gaming rewards without the need to connect a Web3 wallet.

#### Grady Teske : *ecosystem* doing the heavy lifting here, not just development but a space for the industry itself. Increased opportunity and competition but this drives for development to achieve the best they can! Thank you Nicola and Nakamoto team. Competition is always healthy and can often push projects to continue to be innovative and building!

Goto : Yes. Although blockchain projects are representing a growing share of this market, Nakamoto Games is bridging the gap between the traditional gaming industry and the blockchain industry by offering any online gamer anywhere in the world the opportunity to play and earn in a broad suite of blockchain games and SDK with third-party developers.

#### Speaking of building, it’s important to consider the team behind the project; To @gotoism  or @NakamotoGamesTeam What do you believe is the secret ingredient behind the teams success, beyond your previous experience?

Goto : We have a full team of experienced professionals in their areas and everyone is passionate about crypto gaming. That's our core fundamental. We are fully transparent within the team and that carries on to the community as well. Dedication and passion is the key. And also resilience. We welcome creativity but that comes with being realistic too. We have mutual objectives to reach for NAKA.

#### Grady Teske : At this stage one of the greatest competitive advantages for a project is team. and evaluating team is an art. Past success alone isn't indicative of future success. Especially within blockchain projects, free thinkers, the daring and willing to execute drive projects from wild idea to in market growth.&#x20;

#### @crypto\_doi also dropped a well articulated review on the project. I'd like to ask you to join us on the topic of team. @crypto\_doi, With the backing of the likes of Polygon, your review states that they are in a great position to avoid pitfalls. What other notable partners do you believe have strengthened their forecast? Team for projects is more than just developers and business managers

#### it's the open ear (and transalation) of community managers to embrace users.  it's investors that help to network and support growth.  At #Contango we always work to check in with projects to see where we can network and add value.  it's early adopters and users driving development. we're all in this together

Cryptodoi : With the recent collaboration with Khon Kaen University and Naka arena, I feel like the Nakamoto Games is slowly integrating themselves into the lives of gamers through a non-intrusive lifestyle change.

The whole play-to-earn space is still in its early days and it’s certain that we’re still in the early adopters bell curve where the only people who are active in Nakamoto Games right now are only invesotrs and not so much on the gamers side

Through the courses of lecturing on blockchain in Khon Kaen university, Nakamoto Games is introducing the play-to-earn space in a non-intrusive manner where students can adopt play-to-earn games from Nakamoto Games in a safe enviroment that won’t lead to a ponzi scheme and leave negative connotations for the gamers

Although many investors do not see any differences in terms of price action for the things Nakamoto Games are doing with Thai universities, I for one sees this as an opportunity for Nakamoto Games long term growth where blockchain knowledges are being integrated into the student’s lives and will slowly adopt P2E gaming not just for a quick ponzi scheme bucks, but rather for a more sustainable play to earn profits

It’s just a matter of time when more and more adopters starts coming in through the vast ecosystem that Nakamoto Games is trying to build that we will start seeing the difference in number of players, which is the leading factor for Nakamoto Games success

#### Grady Teske : YESSS!! Team builds through cross networking.  Finding audience and increasing buy in through partnering in out of the box relationships that are often overlooked

Cryptodoi : Obviously it won’t be something we’ll see within this year or maybe the next, but businesses that survive the market are the ones with a long term plan, and I see this collaboration as beneficial for Nakamoto Games’ future

#### Grady Teske : Projects that win always mantain the long vision but service the immediate needs as well.

Cryptodoi : Yes, the one thing that I don’t see from other projects is the tendency to go beyond what’s expected in the crypto space, and Nakamoto Games surely made a huge effort trying to integrate P2E into the lifes of the many rather than making effort to please in short term. Nakamoto games ALWAYS deliver EVERY SINGLE week

#### Grady Teske : @gotoism this is definitely an area where I see your sustained and developing roadmap as an advantage. Any further thoughts on your team and how it's changed, expanded? (everytime I come into this channel the $NAKA team is growing and expanding)&#x20;

#### I want to take this moment to again remind everyone that today's AMA is a review of submissions from the #NAKAMOTO Diligence Bounty, created by Contango Digital We created this bounty series to increase crowdsourced diligence and showcase/find new voices or mindsets on analyzing projects.  One thing that stood out is the % of submissions that came from within this very community.Thank you for that

Goto : Yes, I'd like to add from earlier point that besides introducing a new game. We evaluate the previous games' performance and quality too. We enabled single-player option for NAKA Strike when it was launched for multiplayer, always optimize gameplay. Creating interactive games, gauging the pulse of the market, taking feedback from our growing communities and developing games and solutions that catered to the needs and expectations of our users have been some of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects of our phenomenal roadmap growth. We have the plan laid out, adjust based on the market, users and community.

#### Grady Teske : We have one final participant to introduce and I would like to say thank you to @crypto\_doi again for providing deeper insight into the project. #### I think we can collectively agree that the criteria where Nakamoto has Truly excelled is their roadmap. @king\_isher, We can certainly agree that Nakamoto Games blew their original roadmap out of the water, what do you believe their most impressive achievement is to date? What are you excited for most in their future developments?

Pruny : Quick thank you to the $NAKA and #Contango teams for the opportunity to join in this AMA and in the due diligence contest. Compared to the other finalists my answers are pretty short and as follows:

We know that crypto projects need to be constantly adapting to the environment, e.g. 1 month ago hardly anyone knew about move2earn and now it’s quickly becoming mainstream. Out of all the successes (e.g. original roadmap had 1 game scheduled for released in 2021, $NAKA released 6..), for me $NAKA’s most impressive success so far has been the $NAKAVERSE, as a reminder this wasn’t at all in the initial published roadmap… The team has come up with an original concept and launched public sales within a few months, an amazing achievement.

For the second question.. I’m a pretty lousy gamer (but fully enjoyed the $NAKASTRIKE tournament), I’m most anticipating the full $NAKAVERSE launch.. passive income is important and I’m excited to see how the team delivers on that.

#### Grady Teske : The beauty of the #NAKA project is that it provides excitement and value to gamers, whether world class or casuals. Now with the introduction of Nakaverse there are even more opportunities for particpants to enjoy without the time or skills as a leading gamer. Love it!

#### @mikecontango and @joshcontango When projects approach you for the first time you have to look at vision and team, but it all combines in their roadmap.  How do you, as VC partners evaluate an early project's roadmap? BTW @mikecontango and @joshcontango are my partners in Contango Digital, a venture firm focused on driving adoption for the entire web3 ecosystem; particularly supportive of early stage projects.

#### @pruny one thing to add on diligence and analytics.  Curation is a value, determining the right points to look at is more valuable for consideration than having a tremendous amount of data to sift through. Nice work!

Mike Grantis : Great question @GradyT, and thanks for moderating such a fantastic AMA. Roadmap is extremely important in our decision making process. We look for depth and detail in a roadmap. How precise can the team be with their deliverables? Do they have an understanding of their burn rate and how they will get from one stage to the next? Do they have a history of over or underperforming their expectations? Often times, the more detailed the roadmap, the better the founders know their business

Josh Contango : The roadmap has to to be ambitious but realistic. Technically its not just about roadmap. Its about deducing that the team will be able to execute on the roadmap. If those two things are present, you can be assured as an investor that the team will build exactly what they say they’ll build

#### Grady Teske : great answer, detail shows increased vision and hints at a plan to execute. just like my response to @king\_isher above though curation of the RIGHT information to add on a roadmap is important.  We suspect the #nakamoto team had stablecoins and metaverse in their vision all along, but shared an achievable road map while quietly buidling into further direction.

#### We're running down on time and I'd like to offer @joshcontango a second for insight as well. @joshcontango What is the conclusion of your due diligence now, with the hindsight of investment into $NAKA and the excellent analysis of our participants today?

When we thought up this opportunity we hoped to see the excellent analysis but we're blown away by the clarity and professionalism.

Josh Contango : The conclusion of my due diligence on Nakamoto Games when we initially invested was obviously quite good or we wouldn’t be here today.. lol. I saw an experienced team that had the right developers and advisors to pull off the roadmap. I loved the idea of creating a P2E ecosystem, and I trusted in the team to make that a reality. The tokenomics were on point, and they were able to onboard some great backers.

Mike Grantis : Exactly, this is also key as we enter bear market. Teams that outsource development are reliant on steady streams of income to pay their contractors. Pruny : I would like to see the Nakamoto Games team focus more on developing a mobile app version for the $NAKA games.

Why is that?

1\.  Mobile phones dominate market share in Asia (one key target market), with on average 66% of users being online through a mobile, and up to 76% in India. Mobiles are generally cheaper and more within budget to even those with lower income.&#x20;

2\. It is more practical to play games from your mobile, whether in bed or on the sofa or on the move, people are generally more likely to have access to their mobile (e.g. in their pocket) than their laptop/desktop/tablet.

3\. Smartphones are becoming much more powerful and can compete with desktops/laptops for graphics and processing speed.&#x20;

Mobiles will not currently replace desktops/laptops but they open up a new market segment. For some of the games such as $NAKA Runner, Candy Shop, Nakar, a mobile app would be ideal.

and probably a point 4.. we can enable a M2E feature

#### Grady Teske : Agreed - community led ideas like this will continue to drive $NAKA up with the lead of the excellent #NAKAMOTO team. thank you again to all participants but especially the #NAKA team for allowing us to explore their project in greater detail as they build to success.

**Q1: For those not familiar with Nakamoto Games, can you please give us a bit of background about what the project is about and how it started.**

Goto : Sure, Nakamoto Games is an industry-leading play-to-earn and Metaverse ecosystem. After just one year live on mainnet, our platform has 200,000 registered users and a catalog of 20 on-site play-to-earn games. Our project was publicly announced last August, just after the explosion of play-to-earn gaming in the crypto market.

After assembling a team of developers with decades of collective experience in both blockchain and gaming development, we were ready to jump into the next generation of gaming. We launched first with 10 games on our platform, with each game having lucrative play-to-earn rewards. Since then Nakamoto Games has released 10 more, all the while improving our graphics and gameplay to match the growth of the rapidly expanding industry. **Q2: What is it that Nakamoto Games solves within the industry and how does it differ from other projects?**&#x20;

Goto : As briefly mentioned above, Nakamoto Games solves the biggest problem in the GameFi industry. The problem of sustainable reward economics. The majority of platforms use huge early reward pools to attract new players. Early adopters snap these up. Once the pool has been depleted, the game is no longer able to reward players to near the same level. Then people naturally lose interest and the protocol fails.&#x20;

It is either this model or relying on new players to purchase necessary in-game items in order to provide liquidity for the rest of the player population. Both models are unsustainable and lead to rapid token devaluation.

**Nakamoto Games solves this problem with a zero-sum gaming model. Players put up tokens to participate in our online games and rewards are distributed to each player based on where they finish. Instead of depleting a pool of tokens provided by the protocol, players compete for each other's tokens.** This protects the value of our native token $NAKA and creates a sustainable earning environment for players.

**Andrew : Especially with this relating to play-to-earn, it's fascinating to hear this one I reckon.**

Goto : Thank you. We have thought it through! Other problems we solve are diversity and adaptation in the rapidly expanding GameFi landscape. The majority of big play-to-earn platforms provide just one game. Although the games receive regular updates, the majority will be made obsolete as the industry evolves. We ensured this will not happen to us by offering a constantly updated catalog of play-to-earn games. Each game we release shows improvements in quality, and our diversity of games guarantees that there is something for everyone.

**Wonderful! Next Question! Q5. Security is paramount for Orion Protocol. Why is owning your own assets, like on Orion where people use their own wallets to trade in a decentralized way, so important do you think?**

Goto : Many exchanges place cryptocurrencies bought on their platform into a third-party custodial wallet provided by centralized exchanges. Although it can be argued this is a simple and easy-to-use solution. There is a hefty trade-off for crypto holders.

First of all, the private keys are controlled by a third party taking the idea of decentralizing out of the equation immediately. Secondly, these wallets are vulnerable to hacks as we have seen in a variety of cases in the past, even for large and established trading platforms.

**Andrew : Yep. Not your keys, not your coins.**

Goto : What’s more, all customers need KYC and AML verification before creation and it limits features available to experienced crypto users. All these problems are avoided when dealing with your own wallet. You are in control and do not have to place your faith in a centralized financial system. **This is why Orion Protocol helps facilitate true and secure decentralization.** We are a big fan of simplifying processes

Goto : We kicked off quarter four with a bang, releasing our first in-house AAA game Escape, and a 10,000-strong NFT collection. However, we are just getting started and have a host of exciting developments on the horizon.

First of all, Outlanders, an immersive 3-D MMORPG three years in the making is set to debut on our website this winter. The game contains both move-to-earn and play-to-earn rewards and features an earn now, collect later model perfect for non-crypto native gamers.

Secondly, We are planning to bring a selection of our games to mobile in the coming months. Soon players will be able to log into Nakamoto Games anywhere in the world at any time of day to play games and earn rewards.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we are soon to launch a brainchild of our team since day one. A lot of our time currently is focused on helping (big) projects use our deep liquidity — those projects are top L1s, top CEXs, etc. Once it's in place, we expect volume through the Orion Protocol to be much higher, which will benefit ORN holders.**

Goto : Can you explain further on Orion Swap Widget? How does it work and who do they benefit?
